AEO — Answer Engine Optimization
AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is the practice of optimizing content so it appears in the direct answers of search engines: Google featured snippets, People Also Ask, Google SGE and AI engines. AEO aims to be the source cited when a user asks a search engine a direct question.
AEO is often considered a subset of GEO, or its precursor. Where GEO covers visibility across all generative engines, AEO focuses on capturing "position zero" in classic engines (featured snippets) and answer blocks in Google. To optimize AEO: structure content as questions/answers with a direct answer in 40-60 words at the start of a paragraph, use FAQPage and HowTo schema, and target questions with a precise informational intent. Voice search (Google Assistant, Siri, Alexa) also relies on the same AEO signals.

GBP Heatmap — Local Google Maps Ranking Heatmap
A GBP Heatmap (also called a local ranking heatmap) is a visual representation of a Google Business Profile listing's positions across a geographic grid. It reveals, point by point, at what position a business appears in Google Maps results depending on the location of the person searching.

FAQPage schema is a type of structured data (schema.org) that tells search engines that some content on a page is structured as questions and answers. Google can display these FAQs directly in search results (SERPs) as rich results with expandable accordions.
To implement FAQPage schema, each question/answer pair is wrapped in a JSON-LD object with the properties @type: "Question", name (the question) and acceptedAnswer (the answer). Google enforces constraints: the answer must not exceed 300 words, the content must be visible on the page (not only in the code), and the questions/answers must match between the HTML and the schema. HowTo Schema — Structured Data for Tutorials
HowTo schema is a type of structured data (schema.org) used to describe a step-by-step procedure. Google can display it as a rich result in SERPs, with each step listed directly under the title. It is the ideal format for "How to..." articles and practical guides.
HowTo schema contains key properties: name (the tutorial's title), step (an array of steps, each with text and optionally an image), totalTime (estimated duration), tool and supply (required tools and materials). Pages with valid HowTo schema also rank very well in AI-engine answers, which look for procedural content to answer "How to..." questions asked by users.
llms.txt — Guidance File for LLMs
The llms.txt file is an emerging standard (analogous to robots.txt but for LLMs) that lets site owners guide generative-AI crawlers. It lists a site's important pages with a short description, so language models can understand the site's structure and content without having to crawl it entirely.
Placed at the root of the site (gomyseo.com/llms.txt), the llms.txt file is a Markdown document readable by both humans and AI. It typically contains: a short overview of the site and its purpose, a list of key pages with their URLs and descriptions, and useful metadata (language, author, last-updated date). Domain Trust (or Trust Score) is an SEO metric that evaluates the overall quality and reliability of a web domain, primarily based on its backlink profile. Domain Trust is calculated by analyzing several signals: the quantity and quality of referring domains, the dofollow/nofollow ratio of inbound links, domain age, the absence of toxic links or past penalties, and the site's topical consistency. A Domain Trust of 50+ is considered good for a mid-sized site. A Domain Trust below 20 indicates a poorly established site that would benefit significantly from an active link-building strategy.

Link Anchor — Anchor Text
The link anchor (or anchor text) is the visible clickable text of a hyperlink. For search engines, a backlink's anchor text is an important signal indicating the link's topical context. An anchor containing the target keyword strengthens the link's topical relevance, but over-optimizing anchors can trigger Penguin penalties.
A natural anchor profile should be diversified: brand anchors (site name), URL anchors (the bare URL), generic anchors ("click here", "learn more"), and topical anchors (containing keywords).
