1. Purpose and scope

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the GoMySeo platform available at gomyseo.com, published by Hugo Souliard Lehuby, sole proprietor trading as The Ovena (SIRET 989 737 614 00010).

Creating an account or using the service constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. These Terms must be read together with the Terms of Sale (commercial and pricing terms) and the Privacy Policy (personal data processing).

These Terms apply to all users of the service, whether using free credits, purchased credits, or simply browsing the site.

2. Description of services

GoMySeo is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform built around a single AI-powered chat interface. Instead of separate tool pages, the user addresses natural-language requests to this assistant, which can, depending on the Offer subscribed to (see Terms of Sale, Article 3):

• Run an SEO Analysis — full technical and semantic audit: scoring, prioritized recommendations, history tracking and report export.
• Run a GEO & AEO Analysis — evaluation of the site's presence in generative search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google SGE) and conversational search visibility.
• Run a Google Risk Audit — detection of algorithmic penalty factors (E-E-A-T, SpamBrain, link profile quality) and corrective recommendations.
• Produce a GBP Heatmap — Google Business Profile local visibility simulation on a geographic grid, identifying low-visibility areas.
• Write SEO copy — generation of optimized SEO content: blog articles, product sheets, meta tags, content plans.
• Research keywords — analysis of search volumes, difficulty and semantic opportunities.
• Analyze backlinks — inbound link profile audit, toxic link detection, anchor analysis, including for competitor keywords.
• Connect third-party tools — Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Bing Webmaster Tools, WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Wix and Google Ads, via secure OAuth or API connections, to read ranking, traffic and impression data directly within the chat.

The number of Search Console connections, seats, chat folders, available connectors, white-label export and beta access vary by Offer. Details are available in the Terms of Sale, Article 3.

3. Access and account creation

Accessing the service requires creating a personal account with a valid email address and password. Each account is strictly personal and may not be shared between multiple users.

• The user is solely responsible for keeping their credentials (email and password) confidential.
• Any login performed with the user's credentials is presumed to be their own action.
• If account compromise is suspected, the user must immediately change their password and alert the publisher at contact@gomyseo.com.
• The publisher reserves the right to refuse registration to any user not meeting eligibility conditions.

4. Usage quotas

Usage is governed by two combined mechanisms, both tied to the Offer subscribed to (Terms of Sale, Article 3):

• Credits: each action performed by the chat (audit, analysis, content generation, etc.) debits a number of credits from the user's balance. The Offer's monthly credit allowance is granted at the start of each billing period and does not carry over to the next one. Once the balance is exhausted, the user is invited to upgrade their Offer or buy additional credits (Terms of Sale, Article 5 bis).
• Structural limits: independently of credits, each Offer caps the number of active Search Console connections, seats on the account, chat folders and which third-party connectors can be enabled. These limits do not reset monthly; they simply reflect what the current Offer allows.
• Increasing your limits: a user wanting more credits or higher structural limits can upgrade their Offer at any time from their client area; the change takes effect at the next renewal (Terms of Sale, Article 6).
• Technical adjustments: the publisher may adjust credit costs or structural limits under the conditions defined in article 7 of the Terms of Sale.

5. Third-party data and AI-generated content

GoMySeo integrates data from independent third-party sources (a specialized SEO/SERP data provider, Google Maps Platform, Google Search Console API) and produces its answers, scores, reports and text using third-party generative artificial intelligence models. The user acknowledges and accepts the following:

• Third-party data may be incomplete, delayed or temporarily unavailable, without this engaging the publisher's liability.
• Search volume, ranking and backlink data are statistical estimates, not certified data.
• GBP Heatmap results are simulations based on Google Maps Platform data available at the time of analysis; they do not necessarily reflect the real-time display in Google Maps for every user.
• GEO and AEO analyses are based on generative search engine results at a given moment; these results can vary significantly depending on context, date and end user.
• Every reply, score, report or piece of content generated by the chat, including SEO copy, is produced automatically by an AI system and may be inaccurate, incomplete or contain fabricated information ("hallucinations"); the user is solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking and validating it before any use or publication.

6. User obligations and liability

The user agrees to use GoMySeo in accordance with applicable French and European law and these Terms. It is notably forbidden to:

• attempt to circumvent usage quotas by any technical means (automated scripts, multiple accounts, API manipulation, etc.);
• access other users' data, analyses or accounts;
• use the service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, or in a way that infringes third-party rights;
• automate requests to the platform beyond normal use as defined by the quotas;
• resell, sublicense or commercially exploit access to the service without the publisher's prior written authorization;
• post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, violent content or content infringing privacy through the service's features (support, notes, etc.);
• attempt to identify other users from data accessible on the platform.

The user is solely responsible for the URLs, keywords and content they submit for analysis, and for the decisions they make based on results provided by GoMySeo.

7. Intellectual property and generated content

The publisher is and remains the owner of all intellectual property rights relating to the GoMySeo platform (source code, interfaces, algorithms, trademark, logo). Subscribing grants a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of access and use.

The user remains the owner of the data they submit (URLs, keywords, content, analysis parameters). The publisher claims no ownership right over this data.

Text content generated by the chat based on the user's instructions or requests — SEO copy, reports, audit summaries, recommendations, or any other AI-generated text — is made available to the user for unrestricted use. The user is responsible for verifying the originality, accuracy and legal compliance of this content before any publication.

The publisher does not guarantee that generated content is free of any resemblance to other existing texts. It is up to the user to ensure the absence of plagiarism before use.

8. Limitation of publisher liability

GoMySeo provides a decision-support service based on data available at the time of analysis. The publisher cannot be held liable for:

• decisions made by the user based on the analyses, scores, recommendations or generated content;
• search engine algorithm changes occurring after an analysis;
• temporary service interruptions related to scheduled or unplanned maintenance, host outages, or force majeure;
• inaccuracies, unavailability or delays in data from third-party providers;
• any data loss resulting from the user's fault or negligence.

The publisher's liability is capped at the amounts actually paid by the user during the 12 months preceding the triggering event. Indirect damages, loss of revenue or loss of profit are expressly excluded. For full details, see Terms of Sale — Article 10.

9. Account suspension and termination

The publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account, with or without notice depending on severity, in the following cases:

• serious or repeated violation of these Terms;
• fraudulent or abusive use, or attempted circumvention of quotas;
• persistent non-payment despite reminders;
• providing manifestly false registration information;
• unlawful activity or infringement of third-party rights through the platform.

If the publisher terminates an account for user fault, no refund is due for the current period.

10. Changes to these Terms and the service

The publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes are notified to active users by email at least 15 days before they take effect. The current version is always available at gomyseo.com/cgu.

Continued use of the service after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. In case of disagreement, the user may cancel their subscription under the conditions defined in article 9.

The publisher also reserves the right to evolve the features, interface and tools offered, in accordance with the conditions defined in article 7 of the Terms of Sale.

11. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute not resolved amicably, the competent jurisdiction is determined according to the terms defined in article 18 of the Terms of Sale.

Should any provision of these Terms be declared void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
